Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
Backstopped for the majority of the season by HOFer Roy Worters, the New York Americans finished in fourth place in the Canadian Division in 1933-34, with this the franchise's ninth season in the NHL. We have a rare Americans jacket patch from the 1933-34 season. At just under 5" in diameter, the thick chenille crest features crossed hockey sticks with "New York" above and "Americans" below in navy blue, with "33" and "34" to the left and right side respectively. The crest remains clean with the colours bright, with the thin original backing mostly detached.
