Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
Led by player-coach and former NHLer Clare Martin, the Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen topped the Ontario Hockey Association Senior A league in 1954-55, losing only 15 of the club's 50 games. Advancing to the Allan Cup finals, the Dutchmen defeated the Fort William Beavers 4 games to 1 to be crowned senior champions of Canada. We offer an original 1954-55 Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen Allan Cup champs patch, along with a group of 7 vintage patches. The Dutchmen patch is chain-stitched at just under 6" x 6", with Ontario and Union Jack flags at each side along with a crown and crossed hockey sticks. The additional patches are all slightly smaller in size, and include "TBHL Junior Champs 1918-19 Bellwoods", "1927 EMS BB 2", "Monarchs Canal Softball League Champs 1924-25", "HASA Senior Champs 1933", "Hamilton Gun Club", "British Empire Games 1930" and "Nelson BC".
