Originally drafted 65th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Kris Letang has spent his entire National Hockey League career with the franchise that first called out his name, suiting up in nearly 1100 games over the course of 18-years as of this writing. A three-time Stanley Cup champion (2009, 2016 and 2017) who has also represented Canada internationally, winning back-to-back gold medals at the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships in 2006 and 2007, offered here is this stick used by Letang while patrolling Pittsburgh's blue line in the era of the mid-2010s, between the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons of play. An Easton Synergy HTX model twig with mostly covered up "58 Letang" factory graphics appearing over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of white over the handle/knob that is finished at the bottom with black vinyl while the black tape that was once wrapped around the blade has been removed. Signed by Letang over the heel on the forehand side with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue, the backhand side of the blade has had a "Letang Authentic" hologram affixed to it. Sporting a thin layer of now dried gripping agent over the middle portion of the shaft, the stick displays game-use in the form of marks and abrasions over the shaft, lower shaft and heel with additional marks and abrasions also present over the blade on both sides.
