Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
Looking to capitalize on the trading card boom that was going on in the late-1980s and early-1990s, Canadian manufacture 7th Inning Sketch looked to get a piece of the pie by featuring the player of the Canadian Hockey League's three (3) leagues of the OHL (Ontario Hockey League), WHL (Western Hockey League) and QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League), doing so between 1989-90 and 1991-92. Offered here, we present this factory sealed case of Seventh Inning Sketch's 1990-91 OHL Hockey product. Containing 20 unopened boxes with 36 packs per box and 10 cards per pack, a total of 7200 cards are present, including many players that would go on to be National Hockey League stars, such as Eric Lindros of the Oshawa Generals. Remaining in overall good to excellent condition, the tape seal on the top of the case remains tight on the top and sides with a bit of give around the edges of each end, with no cuts ensuring the case has stayed fully sealed. Additionally, there are major holes or creases to the box itself.
