Increasing from the previous season's set size from 40 to 60 cards, the 1924-25 William Paterson V145-2 set featured cards of the two newest clubs, the Boston Bruins and Montreal Maroons. The William Paterson firm’s second hockey card effort, released when the Montreal Canadiens were the reigning Stanley Cup champions and surfacing less often than their counterparts from the previous campaign. Offered here is this starter set of the 1924-25 William Paterson V145-2 release that includes 33 of the 60 cards found in the checklist. Largely in the condition range of GOOD throughout its entirety with some better and worse off examples observed throughout the assembly, the half-set is paced by the key examples of 3-Clancy (GOOD - rounded corners), 5-Smith RC (GOOD - rounded corners), 32-Benedict (GOOD - slight crease in the area of the bottom), 39-Broadbent (GOOD - worn and corner wear), 51-Noble (GOOD - rounded corners) and 53-Adams (FR to G - light damage to the reverse plus a crease and corner wear). For the rest of the set, the cards of 41-Berlinquette RC, 46-Boucher and 57-McCaffrey RC are seen in the scope of VG to VG-EX, #'s 2-Boucher, 8-Campbell RC, 11-Forbes, 12-Randall, 17-Langlois, 19-Bouchard, 20-Spring, 21-Cooper, 22-Harris RC, 23-Headley RC, 26-Schnarr RC, 29-Mitchell RC, 36-Lowrey RC, 42-Carroll RC and 52-Roach RC are in the neighbourhood of GOOD, #'s 4-Hichman, 25-Herberts RC, 27-Skinner RC, Fowler RC, Munro RC, 45-Cleghorn and 58-Corbeau are in the vicinity of FR to G and finally, #'s 1-Ironstone RC and 59-Andrews are in the proximity of "Authentic".
