This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/24/2024
Spending over a dozen seasons in Tampa Bay which included four NHL All-Star Game appearances coupled with the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy in 2007, Vincent Lecavalier was selected first overall by the Lightning in 1998, and had his number retired by the club in 2018. From his first season in the "City of Brotherly Love", offered here is this photo-matched Flyers jersey worn by Lecavalier during the 2013-14 season. Made by Reebok and sporting a lone size "56" label affixed to the inner collar, the front and reverse necklines of the garment have been accented with the logo patches of the NHL and Reebok respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a familiar Flyers team crest in layered tackle twill, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Lecavalier's number "40" in dual layer twill numerals. Game-wear is light with a few stick marks to the left sleeve, with a tear to the left cuff. The right cuff is also slightly unraveled, and there are a few faint stains on the reverse numbers and nameplate. Getty Images #479392665 (March 15, 2014) and #477915195 (March 5, 2014) have been matched to the large stick mark on the left sleeve, while Getty Image #476795839 (Feb 27, 2014) has been matched to the two large stick marks on the left sleeve. A MeiGray patch numbered "K02162" is sewn to the inside hem next to the team patch, and according to the company's population report, the jersey is an "Orange Set 2" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
