Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
Playing a total of just 62 games for the Tampa Bay Lightning, with this occurring in 1998-99, Benoit Hogue was traded to Dallas late in the season, where he saw action in 12 regular season games and 14 playoff games. From his short time in Florida, we have a Lightning jersey worn by the Repentigny native in 1998-99. A CCM label and size “54” fly tag remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a textured and partially embroidered Lightning team crest, the black V-neck has been accented with stylized and oversized tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Hogue” across the nameplate in matching oversized letters. The 1999 All-Star Game patch is also present, situated over the upper right chest. Game-wear consists of a few puck and stick marks over the lower front and reverse bands as well as the sleeves, with board burns to each lower sleeve. Hogue has signed the team crest in black marker, with the signature displaying well. A COA from the Lightning will accompany.
