The man credited with bringing the “butterfly” style of netminding to the forefront, Patrick Roy remains the only player in history to garner the prestigious Conn Smythe Trophy an impressive three times. We have a stick used by the iconic superstar during his time with Colorado, a model of stick he used in the early-2000s. A KOHO 500 model with “P. Roy” stamped to the upper shaft and largely covered by "St. Patrick's" tape job, the original white tape is in place on the blade, lower paddle and knob, with black cloth wrap on the handle and upper shaft as well. Exhibiting nice game-use, puck marks are observed over both sides of the taped and untaped sections with tears and cuts also found over the blade tape on the forehand side. Additionally, good amounts of red post paint transfer marks are seen over the backhand side of the upper shaft and at the forehand bottom edge above the heel. Having been signed by Roy over the forehand side of the paddle that has faded over time but is still legible, don't miss out on this lumber used by one of the best of all-time!
