Concluding his HOF career as the highest scoring European-born-and-trained player in NHL history, Jari Kurri was a member of five Stanley Cup championship squads with the Edmonton Oilers and represented his native Finland at every international level. Offered here, we present this stick used by "The Finnish Flash" during the 1996-97 season, his second to last in the league, as a member of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. A Koho Revolution 2245 model twig with "Kurri" stamped over the upper shaft and his number "17" penned above in now faded black marker ink numerals, the stick retains its original white tape job over the handle/knob while some of the white wrapped applied by Kurri over the blade has been removed to facilitate his flowing black marker ink signature that displays well and without issue. Exhibiting good game-use throughout via numerous dark marks throughout the shaft, lower shaft, heel and blade as well as some other minor marks/abrasions throughout including minor cracks in the first layer of fiberglass on both sides of the blade near the heel.
