Marking the first appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals for the Tampa Bay Lightning and the third occasion for their opponent, the Calgary Flames, the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals was the last of three consecutive Finals to feature a team making its debut appearance and was won by the Lightning four (4) games to three (3). Also marking the first time a Canadian team had made the Finals since the Vancouver Canucks in 1994, offered here is this particular puck used by Craig Conroy to score the only goal for Calgary in the deciding seventh (7th) game of the series, which also marked the last goal of the Finals as well. A game that Calgary would drop by a score of 2-1, the marker would be assisted by Jordan Leopold, the puck, featuring a "2004 Stanley Cup Finals - Game Seven" logo on one side with the NHL shield and facsimile signature of commissioner Gary Bettman on the other, the “official game puck” shows light surface wear with abrasions and graphics wear present over both faces while an NHL Game Pucks Program hologram is affixed over the one side as well. Scored at 9:21 of the 3rd period on the road at St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa Bay, the puck is accompanied by a matching LOA and COA that lists the particulars of the goal as well.
