Spending over a dozen seasons in Tampa Bay which included four NHL All-Star Game appearances coupled with the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy in 2007, Vincent Lecavalier was selected first overall by the Lightning in 1998, and had his number retired by the club in 2018. From his final season in the "City of Brotherly Love" before he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings, offered here is this Flyers jersey worn by Lecavalier during the 2015-16 season. Made by Reebok and sporting a lone size "56" label affixed to the inner collar, the front and reverse necklines of the garment have been accented with the logo patches of the NHL and Reebok respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a familiar Flyers team crest in layered tackle twill style, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Lecavalier's number "40" in dual layer tackle twill numerals. Also having had "Lecavalier" spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed white twill nameplate at the top of the reverse, the jersey displays with just very light game-wear in the form of a small 1" cut through the first layer of material on the right elbow, a light stick mark over the left elbow and a couple of light stick marks on the reverse. Having had a Philly Express label sewn inside the reverse hem that denotes the jersey as an "Authentic Game Jersey - 2015-16 - Set #1" offering alongside a MeiGray label numbered "M05222", according to the company's population report, the jersey is an "Orange Set 1" specimen and is accompanied by a matching MeiGray LOA. Regarding the photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #597592584 (November 12th, 2015 vs Washington) to the loose white coloured thread coming off the top of the team crest.
