Drafted by Philadelphia in 1972 and spending six seasons with the club, Tom Bladon is best remembered for setting the Flyers record for most points in a game with 8, which included 4 goals and 4 assists. Occurring on December 11, 1977 vs Cleveland, the Flyers won the match 11-1, with Bladon becoming the first defenseman in history and just the fourth player up until that point to score 8 points! Bladon also set the NHL record for +/-, with his +10 an amazing achievement. We offer a full ticket for the match, along with a certificate celebrating Bladon's feat. The 1 1/2" x 4" ticket lists all the particulars including the date, opponent, seat and $8.50 purchase price, with advertising on the reverse. Just a bit of wear to the corners is exhibited. The certificate is 3 1/2" x 6 1/2", and designed to look like legal tender, with Bladon's image along with the particulars including the date and score. There is a mild fold to one of the corners, otherwise, just light wear.
