Selected 2nd overall in 2003, Triple Gold Club member Eric Staal spent his first dozen NHL seasons with Carolina, followed by time with five other clubs including four seasons with Minnesota. This photo-matched Wild alternate captain's jersey was worn by the six-time All-Star in 2017-18. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both "Made in Canada" and size "58" designations appears along the inner collar while the logo patches of the NHL shield and Adidas grace the front and reverse necklines respectively. Accented over both shoulders with matching alternate logo crests, the front of the jersey is decorated with a large Wild team crest that features both textured and embroidered details while the sleeves and verso have "12" sewn to them in dual layer red-over-green tackle twill numerals. "Staal" is spelt out in single layer green twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Regarding condition, game-wear is light, with a few faint marks and a material-backed team repair to the lower right sleeve. Getty Image #949237684 (April 20, 2018) has been matched to the distinct sewing pattern of the team patch over the bottom of the jersey, with the extended green thread at the bottom of the "1" of "12" on the verso also visible. The "Set #3" team patch resides over the inside hem, with a COA from the Wild to accompany.
