Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
First donning the mighty maple leaf at the 2003 U-18 Junior World Cup in the Czech Republic and Slovakia shortly after his 16th birthday, Sidney Crosby has won gold medals with his nation at each and every level, most famously in 2010, while scoring the overtime winner in the final vs the Americans. This Team Canada 2010 Vancouver Olympics replica jersey has been signed by the three-time Stanley Cup champion. Nike labeling with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar along with the original retail labels, with the tackle twill hockey Canada team crest over the chest and numbers along with an Olympic patch over the reverse hem. Crosby has signed the top of the reverse “7” in black marker, with the signature presenting beautifully. Displaying in beautiful condition despite some light red colour bleed areas that are present throughout the piece, a hologram from Frameworth has been affixed at the base of the number, with COA to accompany.
