Defecting from the Soviet Union to come to North America and play in the National Hockey League, Alexander Mogilny would play in 990 games during his NHL career with Buffalo, Vancouver, New Jersey and Toronto, joining the esteemed "Triple Gold Club" after winning the Stanley Cup with New Jersey in 2000. Scoring a career high of 76 goals during the 1992-93 regular season and registering a total of 1032 points in his career overall, offered here is this Vancouver Canucks jersey worn by Mogilny during the 1995-96 season, his first on Canada's west coast, in which he potted 55 goals and recorded 107 points. Made by CCM, a brand/"Made in Canada" label is affixed to the inner collar along with a size "54" fly tag while both the CCM and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Canucks "flying skate" team crest that features embroidered details throughout its entirety while a Canucks Place patch is present over the right shoulder, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Mogilny's number "89" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Mogilny" is spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Displaying overall excellent game-wear, a good number of stick marks are present over the front, reverse and both sleeves as well as the left shoulder and there is sweat staining around the entirety of the collar. Still sporting its original fight strap on the interior as well as pilling at the area of both elbows, the jersey comes accompanied by a MeiGray COR and a Canucks LOA.
