Already a household name even though he had just a lone NHL season under his belt and was still a teenager, Wayne Gretzky followed up his rookie campaign with a sophomore season that saw him register 164 points (55 goals, 109 assists) in 80 games played to lead Edmonton to their second straight playoffs appearance and claim the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies. Offered here, we present this pair of 1980-81 Wayne Gretzky 2nd year cards that includes both his O-Pee-Chee and Topps offerings. Both found at #250 in their respective sets checklists, the O-Pee-Chee example is found to be in the condition range of EX-MT to NM for its effort while the Topps card presents in the same condition vicinity as well while the player name near the bottom of the card has also survived from being scratched off.
