A neat grouping of some over century old fabric depicting early-1900s hockey players, offered here is this lot featuring a total of six (6) different large silks from the 1912-15 S-22 Murad Cigarettes series as well as three (3) different 1908 American Tobacco B-33 hockey blankets. Starting with the 1912-15 S-22 Murad Cigarettes specimens, each measuring out to dimensions of roughly 5" x 7", included are the examples for Pennsylvania, Columbia, Purdue, Cornell, Brown and Minnesota, each silk shows fold lines of varying degrees while the examples of Pennsylvania, Brown, Minnesota and Cornell shows some stains as well, the heaviest examples being on the Minny silk. Additionally, all six (6) show varying degrees of loose threads along one (1) or more of their borders. For the 908 American Tobacco B-33 offerings, each measuring 3 1/4" x 5" and depicting Utah, Tufts and Chicago, each sports the original fringed top and bottom borders and light wear is observed throughout the group including a small stain to the back of the Utah example and some paper residue on the back of the Tufts specimen.
