This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
In his third stint with SC Bern, Reijo Ruotsalainen returned to the Swiss club in the early-1990s after having won the second Stanley Cup of his career with the Edmonton Oilers, playing three seasons and recording 83 points in 102 regular season games played and helping the club to back-to-back NDA championships in 1991 and 1992. Offered here, we present this SC Bern jersey donned by Ruotsalainen during the 1992-93 campaign. A light weight, all mesh construction garment made by Blacky of Switzerland, a tag from the brand displaying a size "XL" designation is affixed to the inner collar while the company's logo is seen around the collar and sublimated into the material of the jersey over the left breast and in the numbers on the reverse. Featuring fully sublimated logos and crests throughout, SC Bern logos are present over the front, sleeves and reverse while sponsorship crests of Bank EVK, UCAR and Peugeot are seen throughout as well. Accented with Ruotsalainen's number "29" sublimated into the material of the sleeves and verso, "Ruotsalainen" is spelt out in sublimated letters across the upper back. Exhibiting good game-wear, a stick mark is present over the lower front while numerous board burns and unrepaired holes are found over both sleeves. Hailing from his personal collection, an LOA signed by Ruotsalainen will accompany the piece.
