Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
Retiring as the highest scoring left winger in the history of the NHL, Luc Robitaille spent the majority of his lengthy career with the Los Angeles Kings, with appearances made at eight NHL All-Star Games. This signed stick was used by the HOFer during his time in Los Angeles in the late-1980s. A Sher-Wood PMP 7000 model with “Robitaille 20” factory graphics ("20" is also handwritten), the original white-now-yellowing tape is in place over the blade, handle and knob, with “Los Angeles” stamped to the lower shaft. Sporting moderate game-use, there is wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, with a few marks and surface chips to the shaft as well as a bit of red paint transfer.
