OHA Senior A champions in 1919, 1931, 1934, 1936, 1942 and 1944–1948, the Hamilton Tigers also hoisted the coveted Allan Cup in 1919. This lot offers a group of Tigers memorabilia. Included, we have 1924-25 C144 Champs Cigarettes cards for Shorty Green, Jesse Spring (small creases to upper left corner) and Robert McKinnon (all three cards are in the VG range or slightly lower), a 1936 OHA Senior Champions patch (4"), late-1910s/early-1920s postcard of player Joe Matte (low grade), 1929-30 Tigers Vi-Tone schedule card (2 3/4" x 5"), a 1922-23 Tigers program vs Boston Eagles (interior pages detached from staples, no line-up), a Tigers to England postcard from 1935, a Tigers MV Britannic White Star Line card from 1934-35 with the players handwritten to the reverse, an Empire Pool Ice Rink fold-out brochure for the Tigers British visit in 1935, an Empire Pool Ice Rink program for England vs Canada (represented by the Tigers) on April 27, 1935, signed by 11 on the cover including Carl Liscombe, a Streatham Ice Rink scorecard for the England vs Canada match on April 24, 1935, with a pair signing the line-up, a vintage framed photo of a Tigers player (11" x 13"), and 13 homemade cards of players using vintage newsprint images including Toe Blake. Rounding out the lot, there are approx two dozen modern prints of players and team photos, along with a Christmas Day 1925 NHL Tigers program vs Toronto St Pats, with the covers missing.
