Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024

Representing the United States internationally at the World Juniors, World Championships and Winter Olympics, Scott Lachance was drafted 4th overall by the New York Islanders in 1991 and spent his first eight seasons of his NHL career on Long Island. From his second of two seasons in BC, we have a Vancouver Canucks jersey worn by Lachance in 2001-02. A size "58" fly tag graces the collar, with NHL and Koho crests to the reverse hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the Canucks team crest that saw use from 1997 to 2007, the navy V-neck has been accented with textured dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Lachance” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. "14" and "Lachance" are also handwritten to the fight strap in black marker. The jersey shows moderate use with marks to the front band along with board burns to each lower sleeve and some red paint transfer near the right cuff. There is also a bit of pilling beneath the fight strap and to the interior sleeves. An LOA from the Canucks will accompany.
