Playing his junior career in the Q, goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin was a third round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1995 and made his NHL debut in 1998-99. Aubin dressed for a trio of NHL clubs throughout his tenure, with additional time spent in the AHL, DEL and other leagues. From his first of two seasons in Toronto, we have this Maple Leafs third jersey worn by the Montreal native in 2006-07. Made by Reebok and featuring both "Goalie Style" and size "58" tagging affixed to the inner collar, the classic tie-neck style garment is accented over the reverse neckline and hem with the logos of Reebok and the NHL shield. Decorated over the front with a classic style Maple Leafs team crest that has had "Toronto Maple Leafs" embroidered into it, the sleeves and verso of the jersey have had Aubin's number "30" sewn to them in single layer blue twill numerals while "Aubin" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting light but clear evidence of game-wear, a few puck marks are scattered throughout the front and both sleeves. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered "D01854" sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 2" specimen and is accompanied by a matching Leafs/MeiGray LOA.
