Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
Another rookie card of a Hall-of-Famer, this one pictures Ottawa native Bruce Stuart, one of the first to play pro hockey when he skated for the Pittsburgh Victorias in 1902-03. Brother of HOFer Hod Stuart, Bruce also played for Portage Lake and won Stanley Cups with the Montreal Wanderers and Ottawa Senators, captaining the latter the season prior to this card #17 being released by Imperial Tobacco. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, the card is off-center left-to-right, with toning/discolouration to the reverse. There are also a few scratches/blemishes to the front and reverse of the PSA holder.
