Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
A nice grouping of Toronto Maple Leafs memorabilia spanning from the 1930s to 1960s if offered, highlighted by a rare late-1930s Molson advertising display in the original frame. First, there are five different team crests (one is a mini pennant), including a 1940s Bantam Hockey Club crest from Quaker. This is followed by a team photo of the 1947, 1948 and 1949 Stanley Cup winners (8" x 10" with small tear and clipped corner), a small 1933-34 British Consoles? team photo mounted to cardboard (5 1/2" x 8"), two oversized matching-image Charlie Conacher General Motors ads (newsprint - one is approx 11" x 14", the other, framed to 17" x 21"), and a mid-1960s Leafs "Hockey Talks" LP (light wear, with the original booklet intact). Rounding out the lot, we have a Leafs iron-on emblem, a card signed by HOFer Harry Watson, and a signed HOF pass for Watson. The Molson Leafs ad is approx 17" x 17" at the widest parts of the elaborately decorated frame, with a Cream Porter Molson sticker added to the bottom right. The majority of the items show just light wear, unless otherwise noted.
