Featuring a metal Bambino that swing at the mid-waist to hit a metal ball, we offer an example of the Babe Ruth game by New York's Toytown Corporation from the late-1940s. With the game board at approx 19" x 25", the game features a metal Ruth player that is ddesigned to be mounted at home base, with a button on a wire used to "swing" Ruth's midsection to make contact with the small metal ball. The metal player is intact along with the cable used to make him swing (he does not appear operational), as well as the rules, a metal pennant flag attached to pole, and some misc. playing pieces (not complete). The original cardboard box has great graphics and expected handling wear.
