Released by Canadian trading card company O-Pee-Chee during years that saw Major League Baseball expand north of the border with the Montreal Expos and celebrate it's 100th anniversary with the the World Series crown being won by New York "Miracle" Mets, Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates, offered here is this collection of O-Pee-Chee baseball cards totalling sixteen (16) that dates from 1969 to 1971 and features the likes of Hall of Famers such as Roberto Clemente, Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Reggie Jackson, Hank Aaron and others. All found in raw and ungraded form with majority of the cards present falling into the grade range of VG to VG-EX, the 1969 offerings include a trio of HOFers in the form of 50-Clemente (VG to VG-EX - 80-20 centering and a left border stain), 95-Bench (VG - 2nd year card - factory wrinkle at top right corner) and 130-Yaztrzemski (G - very light pencil mark on the reverse at the top right). For cards from 1970, card #10 of Carl Yaztrzemski leads the way in the range of VG-EX to EX condition with light corner wear while those of 140-Jackson (2nd year card - corner wear), 290-Carew (left border dent), and 350-Clemente (corner and border wear) are seen as being in the vicinity of VG to VG-EX shape. Rounded out by a copy of card #220 picturing Steve Carlton on the front, the 1994 Baseball Hall of Fame inductee's cardboard remains in the neighbourhood of GOOD condition despite a small ink mark on the right border. Concluding with examples from 1971 that total half of the group, examples of 100-Rose (light border wear), 180-Kaline (bottom right corner ding), 210-Carew (light border wear), 250-Bench (light corner wear), 400-Aaron (corner wear and 80-20 centering) and 625-Brock (short print high # - 90-10 centering) are all viewed as being in the proximity of VG to VG-EX shape while card #20 of Reggie Jackson is found in the vicinity of GOOD despite border damage over the front right side. Finally, the last card of the collection of 1971's is that of #26 Bert Blyleven's rookie offering, seen as falling into the range of FR to G due to centering issues and a crease.
