Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
Drafted 7th overall by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks at the 2003 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Joffrey Lupul would go on to a career that would span a total of 701 NHL games split between Anaheim, Edmonton, Philadelphia and Toronto. Offered here, we present this stick used by Lupul as a member of either the Anaheim Mighty Ducks or Edmonton Oilers. An Easton Stealth ONT model wielded by Lupul during both the 2005-06 season with Anaheim and 2006-07 campaign with Edmonton. Featuring "Lupul" factory graphics over the shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of white over both the knob/handle and blade. Displaying with a handwritten "15" in black marker over the knob and a hole drilled into the top of the stick, game-use is light-to-moderate with a few marks and abrasions over both sides of the untaped sections of the blade, heel and throughout the shaft. Featuring sticker residue about halfway up the shaft and a white paint mark at the top edge of the blade, Lupul has signed the forehand side heel of the stick with a silver marker ink autograph that displays without issue.
