Named most valuable player at the 2010 Winter Olympics hockey tournament, Ryan Miller backstopped the Americans to the silver medal, with the image of the dejected netminder face down after Sidney Crosby’s epic overtime winner well remembered by Americans and Canadians alike. Offered here, we present this stick used by Miller as a member of Team USA at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. A Reebok 6K model with “R. Miller” stamped to the upper shaft, the original white tape is in place over the blade and knob, with white cloth wrap over the handle and upper paddle. Sporting “30 ER” is handwritten over the knob tape, with photos from the Olympics showing this on Miller’s sticks (he wore #39 during the Olympics, but #30 with the Sabres), it is also worth mentioning that the stick has a factory production stamp of "R08347-02" stamped over the shaft as well with this matching other Miller Olympic sticks we have sold in the past. Exhibiting strong game-use, puck marks are visible throughout the entirety of the stick and over the taped sections as well while red post paint transfers are exhibited over the backhand side of the upper shaft as well. With some dents and cuts to the paddle edges and surface, Miller has signed the forehand heel of the stick with a thin blue marker ink signature that displays well and without issue.
