A tasty treat for kids made even better by the additional of hockey cards that were found in specially marked boxes of products, offered here is this collection of cards from the 1983-84 Vachon set. Featuring players from every one of the Canadian-based NHL teams, the cards originally came in sheets of two cards, one on top of the other, that had to be cut by hand. Including a complete set of 140 hand cut cards that features the likes of players like Gretzky and the rest of the dynasty era Oilers and others such as McDonald, Gainey, Lafleur, Shutt, the Stastny brothers, Salming, Vaive, Tanti, Hawerchuk, Steen and many others, all the cards remain in excellent condition, falling in the range of EX-MT to NM or better for most and are housed in nine slot binder pages. Also including the two (2) variations of card #96 picturing Walt Poddubny, the set is also accompanied by eighty-two (82) 2-cards panels which makes the complete set of 140 and has extras as well. With perhaps the best of the lot being found in the form of a copy of the card picturing "The Great One" over the front that has been assessed as grade go MINT 9 for its effort from PSA (a raw copy is included in the complete set), the holder it is housed in remains in a condition virtually as flawless as the card inside it. Rounded out with paraphernalia relating to the promotion itself including an empty Joe Louis box top and bottom, with the bottom part sporting a set checklist, and coupons/promos, don't miss out on this neat early-1980s food premium collection for your all-important collection!
