Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
Playing his first NHL games in 1956-57, Frank Mahovlich concluded his lengthy HOF career in the WHA, playing two seasons with the Toronto Toros (1974-76), followed by a pair of seasons with the Birmingham Bulls (1976-78). From the personal collection of the six-time Stanley Cup champion, we offer a signed Toronto Maple Leafs jersey and 11" x 14" photo, both with career stats listed. The jersey was produced by CCM with 1967 "Vintage" tagging and size "XL" labeling. Featuring a felt team crest with twill numbers, Mahovlich has signed the reverse numbers in blue marker, adding "Calder Trophy 1957-58", "Big M", "HHOF 1981" and "Stanley Cups 1962-63-64-67". The 11" x 14"photo shows Frank in game action, and it is signed near the bottom in blue marker, with Mahovlich adding the same inscriptions that are found on the jersey. Both signatures on the jersey and photo display well. An LOA from the Mahovlich family will accompany.
