Concluding his Hall of Fame career as one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history – even surpassing his famous father, Brett Hull’s 86 goals in a single-season is second only to Wayne Gretzky, with the Golden Brett registering three seasons of scoring 70 goals or more! A two-time Stanley Cup champion, offered here is this stick used by Hull as a member of the St. Louis Blues during the early-1990s, circa 1991-92. An Easton Aluminum HX4800 model twig that displays with "Hull" stamped to the inserted wooden Easton blade, it should be noted that Hull was normally seen using Christian branded blades on his sticks but did use Easton made ones at times in the late-1980s and early-1990s as well. Retaining Hull's original tape job of white over the handle/knob which has been finished near the top with white cloth, the tape the once covered the blade has been removed to facilitate Brett's flowing black ink autograph over the forehand side that displays without issue while the top and bottom edges show residue of the formerly applied black wrapping. Exhibiting light game-wear via some marks/abrasions over the lower shaft and blade stem, red post paint transfer marks are present over the same areas as well. Additionally, the bottom of the blade near the toe shows evidence of having been sanded down, likely done by Hull himself, with age resulting in a small crack along the bottom edge in spots.
