Playing in parts of four seasons with the Buffalo Sabres, Chris Taylor was drafted by the New York Islanders in 1990, with a good portion of his lengthy professional career spent in both the AHL and Germany. This Sabres jersey was worn by the Stratford native during the 2003-04 NHL preseason and regular season according to the MeiGray Population Report (the accompanying LOA lists just preseason). Labeling with a size 56 tag resides in the collar, with an NHL crest on the back bottom hem. Styled with the Sabres’ buffalo head team crest with embroidered detailing, “16” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in slanted twill, with alternate sword crests to each shoulder. The jersey exhibits a few stick marks to the lower front and reverse along with faint burns to the right sleeve. A MeiGray patch is affixed to the inside hem, and according to the population report, the jersey is a "Black Preseason / Regular Season" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
