One of the most historic moments in the great career of The Great One, on March 23, 1994, Wayne Gretzky slipped the puck past Vancouver’s Kirk McLean to cement his place in history as the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer. This gorgeous signed and framed lithograph by artist Danny Day is entitled “802”, and it celebrates Wayne’s amazing and unbeatable accomplishment. At approx 19” x 26” (exposed), a collage of Gretzky images is featured set amid the LA/Edmonton skyline. Nicely matted and framed with handwritten limited-edition number of “252/880” over the bottom left, Wayne has signed centered over the base in pencil, with the artist also signing on the bottom right. Double-matted and framed to approx 29 1/2" x 38 1/2”, a COA is affixed to the reverse of the frame.
