Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
Ken Klee played 9 seasons with the Washington Capitals before playing the latter half of his career with Toronto, New Jersey, Colorado, Atlanta, Anaheim and Phoenix. The size tag indicates it is a size "58" on the inner collar and the back of the collar has a "KOHO" patch. According to the Accompanying MeiGray LOA, the jersey "was worn by Ken Klee during the 2000-01 or 2001-02 National Hockey League seasons". The team hologram #9377 is affixed to the inside of the fight strap. There is a small error on the LOA, it states the jersey is a number "20" but it is a number "2". The right shoulder/neck area has a team repair, and the right sleeve has a dozen or so game marks including an unrepaired cut next to the "2" and 11 team repairs on the lower sleeve. The left shoulder has a paint transfer mark and there are two small unrepaired cuts under the "2". The lower left sleeve has a team repair and a few game marks. The front of the jersey exhibits two small areas of pulling and on the back next to the number "2" is a team repair. The fight strap exhibits early signs of salting and signs of washing.
