The first defensemen to win the Conn Smythe Trophy as NHL playoffs' MVP, Serge Savard anchored the mighty Montreal Canadiens backline for parts of 15 seasons, and served as Habs captain from 1979 to 1981. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1986, offered here, we present this Montreal Canadiens jersey signed by "The Senator". A CCM made offering with both size "XXL" and CCM/Vintage Series labeling affixed to the inner collar, the front of the jersey is decorated with the famed "CH" crest of Les Canadiens as well as the distinguished captain's "C" over the left breast. Remaining in new-with-tags condition, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Savard's number "18" in dual layer tackle twill numerals while "Savard" is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed nameplate across the top of the back. Signed by Savard over the number "8" on the reverse with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue, Savard has added annotations relating to career achievements including his eight (8) Stanley Cup's, Hall of Fame induction and 1969 Conn Smyth Trophy win over both numbers in matching ink. A limited-edition offering serial numbered "7/18" over a patch that has been sewn to the jersey underneath the reverse numbers, an AJ Sports hologram has been affixed over the patch as well.
