Issued during the 1964-65 season that saw the Montreal Canadiens win their first Stanley Cup in five (5) years, offered here, we present this set of 1964-65 Toronto Star NHL Stars photos that is complete with all 48 images present and accounted for. Featuring stars from all six teams of the era, including Boston's Boivin, Green and Johnson, Chicago's Hall, Hay, Hull, Mikita and Pilote, Detroit's Delvecchio, Howe, Ullman and Pronovost (misspelled Provost!), Montreal's Beliveau, Laperriere and Richard, New York's Gilbert, Howell and Plante, and Toronto's Bathgate, Horton, Keon and Mahovlich, the cards each measure 4 ¼” x 5 ¼” cards are all captioned along the bottom about the scene being displayed. All in good condition with just light wear to the edges and corners of some, all are housed in a vintage photo pages in a period binder that has been decorated over the front with an NHL theme along with team stickers, with the main flaw observed being tape marks on the reverses with many having adhesive marks that have bleed through to the front.
