A product of Louisiana State University who earned an All-Star Game nod in 2009 and won Silver Slugger awards in 2009 and 2012, Aaron Hill would play a total of 1559 MLB games over the course of his thirteen (13) year Major League career, including seven (7) with the Toronto Blue Jays. Offered here, we present this Toronto Blue Jays jersey worn by Hill during the 2010 season, specifically during Toronto's 8-6 win over the New York Yankees on August 2nd, 2010 at Yankee Stadium in New York. Sporting a Majestic/MLB Authentic Collection label and size "48" designation heat pressed over the front tail, additional tagging is found inside the left hip. Decorated over the front with "Toronto" in layered tackle twill letters that have been arched over the chest, Hill's number "2" is found in matching style over the front and reverse while "Hill" is spelt out in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals across the top of the reverse underneath an MLB league logo patch that has been placed over the reverse neckline. With a swatch reading "2 '10 S4" sewn inside the collar, a velcro swatch has been added to the placket while Blue Jays primary and alternate logo patches (a Canadian maple leaf) have been added over the left and right sleeves respectively. With all the buttons still affixed, the jersey shows no obtrusive signs of game-use and has had an MLB hologram numbered "FJ025568" affixed to the "2" on the reverse.
