This Al Arbour commemorative New York Islanders jersey was worn by Chris Campoli during the third period of “Al Arbour #1500 Night” at the Nassau Coliseum. The MeiGray LOA reads, “Al Arbour coached the New York Islanders from 1973-74 to 1985-86, winning four consecutive Stanley Cups. He added another six seasons to his resume from 1988-89 to 1993-94, before he retired with 739 victories and 1499 Isles games coached”. On November 3rd, 2007, Arbour returned to the bench for his 1500th game, and the Isles won 3-2 over the Pens. The left breast bears the “Al Arbour #1500 Night” patch. The MeiGray patch is on the inside hem, and according to the population report, the jersey is a "White - w/ 'Al Arbour 1500th Game 11/3/07' - Worn During the 3rd Period of Al Arbour Night" specimen. Worn for a single period, the jersey shows just a small hole resulting from a board burn over the right sleeve, and a dark mark over the lower front. An LOA will accompany.
