A stay-at-home kind of defenceman who played the first five (5) years of his professional career with Liberec Bili Tygri HC in his native Czech Republic, Radim Simek made his NHL debut in 2018 as a member of the San Jose Sharks after being signed as an undrafted free agent. Offered here, is this San Jose Sharks third jersey worn by Simek during the 2019-20 National Hockey League campaign. Made by Adidas, a band displaying size “56” and “Made in Canada” designations is affixed to the inner collar underneath a “This is Sharks Territory” slogan that has been sublimated into the material of the collar. Sporting both NHL and Adidas crests over the front and reverse necklines of the black and teal coloured garment, the front of the jersey is decorated with a Sharks team crest that features embroidered details while matching alternate logo patches have been placed over each shoulder. Accented over both sleeves and the verso with Simek’s number “51” in dual layer white-over-teal tackle twill numerals, “Simek” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Displaying a subtle circuit board pattern embossed into the black between the teal sleeve stripes, the jersey exhibits light game wear via a pair of stick marks over the bottom teal stripe of the left sleeve as well a board burn in the black of the same area. Having had a Sharks team tag heat pressed inside the collar that denotes the jersey as a “2019-2020” specimen used between January 8th, 2020 and March 6th, 2020; a Fanatics hologram numbered “AA0033186” has been affixed over the fight strap on the interior. Additionally, the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #1205506192 (March 5th, 2020 vs Minnesota) to the loose teal thread near the top of the “1” on the right sleeve.
