Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024

Selected by Phoenix in 1996, Trevor Letowski played for four different clubs during his NHL career, and he is currently an assistant coach with Montreal. From his first of two seasons in Ohio, we have a Columbus Blue Jackets jersey worn by the Thunder Bay native in 2003-04. A label and size "54" tag is affixed to the inner collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with an attractive textured team crest that features embroidered details over the front and alternate logo patches over each shoulder, "10” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in white-over-red tackle twill, with “Letowski” sewn directly to the jersey in single layer white twill letters. Nice game-use is shown with a stick mark over the lower front band, and board burns over each elbow section and the right shoulder, with heavy burns to the right sleeve with resulting team repairs. There is also some paint transfer to each shoulder. The team patch resides on the inside hem, and it denotes the jersey as a "Set #2" specimen.
