The past leaders of our great nation are featured in this lot, with a collection of 26 signed mostly letters and photos from a handful of Canadian Prime Ministers. Included, we have a first day cover signed by Justin Trudeau, typed and handwritten letters signed by Brian Mulroney (4, personal letterhead (3) and on barristers letterhead), Joe Clark (2, as leader of the opposition and on company letterhead), John Diefenbaker (2, both on PM letterhead - there is also a handwritten letter from Diefenbaker's wife, Olive), Louis St. Laurent (on PM letterhead), Mackenzie King (PM letterhead), Pierre Trudeau (3, two on personal letterhead, plus confederation replica document) and Kim Campbell (personal letterhead). There is also a handwritten letter from 1911 addressed to Sir Wilfred Laurier signed by an unknown individual, a Bill C-36 copy signed by Pierre Trudeau and Ed Schreyer, a House of Commons sheet signed by Mulroney, Trudeau, Gerald Ford, John Turner and one other, a first day issue envelope signed by Ford, Trudeau and Mulroney, a hand drawing signed by Mulroney, and Christmas cards signed by Jean Chretien and Brian Mulroney. Lastly, there are photos signed by Joe Clark, John Turner (2, one has personalization and is matted), John Diefenbaker (with lengthy notation, some wear to the signature) and Jean Chretien. The majority of the signature have been executed in dark ink and show no issues, with the letters and photos (mostly 8" x 10" give or take) showing just light handling wear. A number of the pieces are also accompanied by LOAs. This is a spectacular collection ready for even the most advanced Canadiana holding.
