Finishing the regular season with a record of 54-18-2-2, the 2017-18 Toronto Marlies topped the American Hockey League and defeated Utica, Syracuse, Lehigh-Valley and Texas during the playoffs to claim the franchise’s first Calder Cup championship. Offered here, we present this Marlies jersey worn by Frederik Gauthier in Game 1 of the 2018 Calder Cup Finals. Made by CCM, AHL/CCM and size “58+” labels are affixed to the inner collar with the one displaying handwritten notations reading “AHL” and “2” while CCM logo patches have been added over the reverse neckline and hem respectively with the latter accompanied by an AHL league crest. Decorated over the front with a beautiful Marlies team crest that features embroidered details, the 2018 Calder Cup Finals patch has been placed over the left breast while a Scotiabank sponsorship patch sits over the right. Having been accented over the sleeves and verso of the tie-neck garment with Gauthier's number “33” in single layer white twill numerals, “Gauthier” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Sporting game-wear in the form of fabric backed team repairs near the left cuff, a hole in the left shoulder, a stick mark near the right cuff and board burns over both sleeves, a Marlies team tag has been sewn inside the rear hem alongside a heat pressed Catstitch logo. Displaying an AHL Authentic patch sewn onto the fight strap in the interior, Gauthier has signed the second “3” on the reverse with a blue ink signature that displays without issue. An AHL COA will accompany the piece.
