Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
Playing in his native Russia before his NHL debut with Philadelphia in 1992, Dimitri Yushkevich dressed for four different NHL clubs and represented Russia internationally. This Leafs alternate captain's jersey was worn by Yushkevich during the 1999-2000 NHL season. A sewn-down CCM label and size “58” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and CCM crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the classic Leafs team crest with embroidered detailing, “36” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with the NHL 2000 and Toronto All-Star Game crests over the right breast. Game-wear includes some puck and stick marks over the front and sleeves, with faint burns to the sleeves. Team repairs are also visible, with examples on left (1) and right (6) sleeves and paint transfer to the lower reverse. The team patch resides on the inside he, with an LOA from the Leafs to accompany.
