Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
Known for his aggressive open-ice hits and overall physical play, Dennis Gauthier was a first round draft choice of Calgary in 1995. The Montreal native would dress for four different clubs throughout his career. From his only season in Phoenix, we have a Coyotes jersey worn by Gauthier in 2005-06. Unused stock from the 2003-04 season with the outline of a former Koho crest to the neckline covered with a Reebok crest, a size "54" label is affixed to the collar. Styled with the suede and twill team crest that first saw use in 2003, the solid white V-neck sweater has been accented with burgundy tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with an alternate crest over the right shoulder. Sporting moderate game-use, there are a few puck and stick marks to the front and sleeves, with a small hole over the left elbow as well as some minor staining near the collar. "05-06 Set 2 #3 Gauthier" is handwritten to the reverse of the team crest. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with an LOA from the Coyotes to accompany.
