Drafted by Dallas 113th overall at the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, Russian born Evgeny Tsybouk would play three seasons with Dallas’ top farm teams in the IHL between 1998 and 2001 before heading back overseas to play in the Russian Superleague, the KHL’s precursor. Up for grabs here, is this Stars jersey worn by Tsybouk during the 2000-01 preseason. Made by CCM, both size “56” and “Made in Canada” fly tags are affixed to the inner collar while both the CCM and NHL shield logos have been embroidered over the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Stars team crest that features both textured and embroidered details, matching alternate logo patches have been sewn over top of each shoulder while the NHL2000 patch, wore during throughout the previous 1999-2000 season, has been added over the right collarbone. Accented with Tsybouk's number “43” in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals over the sleeves and verso, “Tsybouk” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Of note, the Tsybouk nameplate is sewn overtop of a shorter nameplate which the edge of can be seen underneath. Displaying good game-wear, board burns are observed over both sleeves and lower front with sections of red paint transfers present over the left elbow as well. Sporting a Stars/MeiGray tag sewn inside the rear hem, the jersey comes accompanied with a Stars LOA and a MeiGray COR.
