Taking us back in time to the Golden Era of the National Hockey League and the latter years of the original six, offered here is this lot sure to pique the interest of all lovers of food premiums that includes a dozen (12) Montreal Canadiens York Peanut Butter photos from 1960-61 as well as five (5) yellow back cards from 1961-62 and ten (10) white backs from 1963-64. Starting with the photos from 1960-61 picturing stars of Les Canadiens, included are examples for Henri Richard (small bottom left corner crease - ink on reverse), Gilles Tremblay (creasing), Dickie Moore (small crease at right border and surface scratches), Albert Langlois, Marcel Bonin (light foxing at bottom), Don Marshall (light staining at bottom), Claude Provost (warping at top right), Boom Boom Geoffrion (marks on reverse - light corner dings), Doug Harvey (staining on reverse) and Tom Johnson (low grade - paper loss, tears, creases, ink mark on reverse, edge and corner wear). Additionally, low grade duplicates of Richard and Harvey are included as well in similar condition and exhibiting the same flaws as the Johnson that was previously mentioned. For the yellow backed cards from 1961-62, the likes of 7-Horton, 8-Bower, 18-H. Richard, 25-Shack and 40-Fontinato being represented with each remaining in the scope of EX condition or so with light edge and corner wear exhibited as well as some toning. Finishing off, the white backed cards from 1963-64 that total ten (10) include those of 12-Kelly, 22-Worsley, 32-Reaume, 35-Ferguson, 36-Berenson, 39-Gadsby, 40-MacDonald, 47-Ullman, 49-Faulkner and 52-Hampson. All in the scope of EX at the very least with some better examples as well, each shows toning over their reverses while the Ferguson card may be the lone exception condition wise due to some staining on the front.
