Playing 21 games for the Los Angeles Kings in 2006-07, Jeff Cowan was placed on waivers and was subsequently claimed by the Vancouver Canucks. He would play in 42 regular-season games for the Canucks that season, along with 10 playoff contests. From the 2006-07 season, we have a Canucks Vintage jersey worn in both the regular season and Stanley Cup playoffs. A size “56” label is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the reverse bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the vintage team crest the Canucks used early in franchise history, “20” appears over the sleeves and verso in single white twill, with "Cowan" across the nameplate in matching material. There has also been a nameplate change, with "Schultz" originally over the reverse but did not play according to MeiGray. The jersey shows just light game-use with a few faint burns to the front and sleeves, and some red paint transfer to the number on the left sleeve. A MeiGray tag numbered “D05997” is sewn inside the reverse hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Blue Vintage Set 2/Playoffs" specimen. A matching LOA will accompany.
