A lot sure to peak the interest of all vintage collectors and those looking for Hall of Fame star power, offered here is this lot of hockey cards largely dating between the 1950s and 1980s that includes roughly 161 cards and names such as Orr, Howe, Gretzky, Lafleur, Mikita, Horton, T. Esposito, Hull and numerous others. For the notables, a 1911-12 C56 example of Riley Hern is included and in the range of FR to G condition with a heavy crease, rounded corners and crayon over the front while 1951-52 Parkhurst cards include 17-Couture (GOOD - crease), 24-Fisher (G to VG - corner wear), 29-Schmidt (VG - light corner wear all the way around) and 100-Hergesheimer (G - crease). Moving on, a 1967-68 Topps rookie of Jacques Lemaire is present and around the vicinity of GOOD due to corner wear and multiple creases while Tim Horton's 1968-69 OPC card is seen as being around VG to VG-EX with light corner wear. Also including a 1969-70 OPC card of Gordie "Mr. Hockey" Howe that is in the neighbourhood of G to VG with a small crease and corner wear, 1970-71 OPC cards include 153-T. Esposito (VG to VG-EX - 60-40 centering), 234-T.Esposito AS (VG to VG-EX - light corner wear), 235-Hull AS (x2 - G to VG and VG to VG-EX), 246-Orr Hart (VG to VG-EX - water stain at bottom) and 249-Orr Art Ross (VG to VG-EX - bottom left corner ding). For the rest of the notables, all showcase Wayne Gretzky and date from 1981-82 to 1985-86 with the grades being from as low as GOOD (1983-84 - crease) up to EX-MT to NM (1983-84). For the rest of the lot, numerous examples of players like Lafleur are present as well as Wayne Gretzky, all from the 80's and 90's while groups of 1970-71 OPC deckle edges, 1971-72 OPC booklets and 1977-78 OPC Glossy inserts are also included.
