The Chicago Black Hawks advanced to the Conference finals in 1995, with Bernie Nicholls seeing action in each and every playoff game for the club that season, scoring 12 points. This Black Hawks jersey was worn by the Haliburton native in the 1995 Stanley Cup playoffs. With no tagging remaining in the collar and the jersey measuring-out to a size 54, CCM and NHL crests grace the bottom hem. Styled with the famous multi-coloured Indian head Black Hawks team crest with chain-stitched detailing, the air-knit V-neck has been accented with oversized white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with gorgeous matching chain-stitched tomahawk crests over each shoulder. "CHA" is also written where the fight strap has been removed (near a bar code). Showing great use, there are a few stick marks over the front, with burns to the sleeves and paint transfer near the left elbow. There is also team repairs to the lower front, upper left sleeve and another by the left cuff. We should also note that the accompanying team LOA specifically mentions "Issued to #92 Bernie Nicholls, for the 1995 playoffs and used as back ups for the first half of the 1995-96 season".
