A product of both the Mississauga IceDogs and the London Knights, whom he would win a Memorial Cup with in 2005, Rob Schremp impressed during his first year of OHL hockey in 2002-03 by registering 74 points in 65 games played, leading to him being named the OHL Rookie of the Year. Offered here, is this IceDogs jersey worn by Schremp during his ROTY season of 2002-03. Made by Nike, a size “56” brand label is affixed to the inner collar above a partially sewn over “PRO” tag while both the Nike “Swoosh” and CHL league logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the tie-neck style garment with an IceDogs team crest and an additional Nike “Swoosh” over the left breast, matching alternate logo patches have been added over the shoulders. Having had Schremp’s number “44” sewn to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals, “Schremp” is spelt out in dual layer white-over-red tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Riddled with excellent game-wear throughout, stick marks are observed over the body and both sleeves while numerous board burns and blue coloured paint transfer marks are present over both sleeves as well. Additionally, a small cluster of unrepaired holes and cuts are present over the lower front and more board burns are found at the hips and hemlines. Showcasing light pilling on the interior, the jersey has been photo-matched to Getty Image #165241634 (February 12th, 2003) to numerous stick marks over the front of the piece.
